Cascina Salvega agritourism – Casella
Cascina Salvega agritourism is named after the place where it is located, only a few minutes away from the centre of Casella and from the station of the famous train which connects the Valle Scrivia village to Genoa.
It is a family business which has recently been restored. It still keeps its typical features from the past.
Goats are raised in the farm, whose milk is used for producing very good cheese. Sheep, chickens and rabbits are also used as food.
Together with fruit and vegetables, which are also used in the menu of the agritourism, the farm also offers a wide range of jams and syrups (among which rose syrup, a Slow Food recognition) and honey.
The farm is willing to host educational farming activities with schools.
